iPhone development: here we go!

As I write this, iTunes is in the process of downloading several gigs worth of iPhone development classes from iTunes U; I’m downloading courses from Stanford and Cal Davis and a podcast series from the iPhone Programming Association at the University of Utah. I think I’ll start with the Stanford course.

We’ll see how this goes; I suspect I might have more success doing this in this sort of format rather than just blindly buying a bunch of books off Amazon and seeing what happens. We’ll see. The more I think about this, the more ideas I have for apps; I’ll be curious to see if I can see this through and actually write something useful. I’m looking forward to getting started, if nothing else. I always enjoyed the programming classes I took in high school and college, and I think if I can find the time to do this I’ll have a lot of fun with it.
