Damn you, new talent trees and pre-expansion goodness.

Sketch diary is behind; since Sunday I’ve been goofing around in World of Warcraft instead of drawing. I’d draw before I started playing, but I’ve been messing around with the kids while Mel plays.

This is a big part of the reason I quit the first time (…and the second time, and the third time) — it gets in the way of other stuff I want to do. I’m actually a little pissed at myself this morning now that I realize I’m two days behind on my sketch diary. I’ve got ideas for some things to draw to catch up; I’ll try to do one over lunch today and then kick out two tonight.

The next three days will be crazy for me — my first-ever studio night tomorrow as I try to learn how to paint from our friend Kristin; two hockey games on Friday; and Mel and I have tickets to hockey on Saturday. Should be really fun.
